Waxing provides semi-permanent hair removal. Typically new hair will not grow back in the waxed area for approximately two to eight weeks. Waxing is an effective method to remove large amounts of hair at one time. It is long-lasting versus other hair removal methods like shaving or depilatories, because the hair is removed at the root rather than the surface. Further, after repeated waxing, hair regrowth is generally softer.

Waxing is a semi-permanent but long-lasting method of removing unwanted hair. The hair should be ¼” to ½” in order to give the best results.
Waxing is not recommended for those that have been or are currently using Accutane, Retin-A, Alpha Hydroxy, Glycolic acid, some topical medications and some of the Obagi skin care products. Please check with your skin care professional before scheduling an appointment for waxing.
